I’ve noticed that there are, in practice, ports that are “text ports” (i.e. involve only UTF–8 chars, used with port-count-lines!) but there isn’t anything enforcing that. I wonder if it’d be reasonable for my lang to provide a dedicated text-port type for that particular use case.
