Another question about slideshow. How can I pass parameters from the command line? is there a special flag that i need to use?

Oooh, nice. Didn’t realise you could run them directly. I expect that the reason to use the slideshow binary is because of security concerns? (If i remember correctly, doesn’t allow writing on disk or something like that?). While if I am creating the presentation, I don’t care.

the slideshow binary also has a variety of other options, like printing

mmm, is showing the presentation on a separate monitor part of the slideshow binary?
