im decending down the inheritence tree of text-field% but i cant seem to find any visual properties?
style% can manpulate the visual’s of the text (color etc
but of the box itself if i want to change the border thinkness, or background colour, where should i be looking?

I don’t think you can set the border. The gui needs to work on mac/linux/windows so precise control is tricky.
