Not sure I understand the issue…

is it because if there is an issue with cgc on file x, line y. And then in 3m the issue doesn’t show up, the warning for cgc disappears?

How would editing the JSON fix this?

Yes, that’s the problem. We could potentially address it by using the fingerprint to make them seem different, but I’m not sure.
