Not sure what’s going on with DrRacket (likely just “Standard Operating Procedures”), but the cursor just sitting at the REPL is causing memory use to go from 500 MB to 1.2 GB before a GC and dropping back down to 500 MB again. I don’t really care about the memory usage, just surprised that it’s growing consistently (~2 MB/s) with me doing nothing. No typing, no mouse movement, etc.

It’s because you’re looking at it. A cursor is pretty shy you know.
