I have a MacBook and a Linux desktop.

There are times when I’d rather have a ThinkPad.

@dustin I had a Thinkpad 10 years ago, running Gentoo Linux. I loved it, but I spent an inordinate amount of time maintaining the OS. Probably more than working. My ex-wife used to call it “the other woman”. I wonder how convenient it is these days to set up the kernel to use up to date mobile hardware, and how tempted I would be to dive into the bleeding edge OS bandwagon.

So far MacOS has been my antidote for OS optimisation procrastination

Most are using Ubuntu. It works out of the box.
