A clarification for anyone finding this in the future, the solution offered by @philip.mcgrath (https://racket.slack.com/archives/C06V96CKX/p1527548340000146) does a great job of the “not editable” part. If my testing is right, however, it needs to be supplemented with the menu-bar code from https://racket.slack.com/archives/C06V96CKX/p1527542459000029 in order to provide the “copyable” part. I missed that in my initial reading of @philip.mcgrath’s answer.
