Well it looks like we have a pretty detailed roadmap for racket-gui now x)

@gfb I don’t know much about the wxme format, but the reference to loading time brought to mind that the racket/fasl binary format changed in Racket 7.0 to be future-compatible, which makes it an option in scenarios where the old, Racket-version-specific formats would have been unacceptable.
