I read the first two sections. I know Vikash (and to a lesser extent, Radul and Rinard) and I don’t understand why they don’t cite us (say Zinkov & Shan) or Ścibior (say POPL 2018) and the discussion of AugurV2 is minimal. You might also find it interesting that there seems to be no evaluation against other systems (speed or otherwise).

Finally, there’s “Gen: probabilistic programming with fast custom inference via code generation” on Monday at MAPL (https://pldi18.sigplan.org/track/mapl-2018-papers#program). Are you going to be there on (this coming) Monday? I’m not. I’m presently evaluating being there on Friday for personal reasons…
