I’m a bit unclear on the intent of paragraphs 2 and 3 - can we talk about it?

what would the best way to talk be (I’m not in Luddy)

I see that para 1 is about “we compile new programs” and para 3 is about “evaluation thesis is not quantitative”, and it seems para 2 is about “our approach composes two steps in order to be useful”, but I don’t see the reviewers missing that last idea?

@rjnw What do we specialize on, that gives us the 10000x speedup on linearRegression? Is it specializing on the number of input data points?

The current draft response (above the horizontal line, without the indented text) is just 710 words, only 10 words over the suggested limit.
