Perhaps the MemoryError in review 20A is caused by the reviewer running too much in parallel? Also, should we ask the reviewer for the VirtualBox version numbers that did and did not work? Finally, surely the fact that a figure takes 24 hours to reproduce should not be taken as a negative?

I did increase the memory to 8gb as I experienced that error, but I think their machine didn’t have that much ram to accommodate it

So, the memory available to a job is the min of the physical available memory and the virtual configured memory? So, we should tell the reviewer that reproducing our work requires new-enough VirtualBox and enough time and memory?

Yes, I think so.

And in Rajan’s case, his physical memory was ≥8gb so increasing the virtual memory helped. In the reviewer’s case, they may not have ≥8gb and that’d be the culprit.
