does chez add c-level symbols to generated code?

I’ve tried some C level profiling but found nothing

I don’t even know what facilities exist on Linux for dynamically generated C-level symbols, but I’m pretty sure that Chez won’t add them

I was hoping that the .so files had C-level symbols

but apparently not

The ".so" is not actually a “shared object” file; it’s a “Scheme object” file in a Chez-specific format
