I think it should’ve printed just 1, shouldn’t it?

it works that way so that it has a recursive reference without needing a loop or something complicated like that

also, i looked at the traces for instantiation, they’re mostly just hash table iteration

one thing we could look at is that in-hash turns into a set!-values which implies cells even though the variables aren’t mutated, and we could think about fixing that

but it’s probably not that important
