Quite cool! What’s next, 3D animations?!

With @notjack’s animated snippets!

The classic teapot.

Sadly the rendering is currently too slow for animations :disappointed:

The calculations of the coordinates are fast enough.

You need a klein bottle of course!

What about pre rendering?

soegaard2

For simple models that would work.

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to parse .obj model files.

@notjack would be really cool if the planner can solve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7MJljsoUSo

This is a crazy hard problem for domain-independent planners (which is what @notjack seems to want to do iiuc). Which means it would be crazy fun :)

soegaard2

It looks pretty fun.

Yeah it’s pretty straightforward as i remember it. There must be huge open libraries by now

notjack

I’ve played that and the thought of trying to get a computer to play it is terrifying

notjack

It’s really, really hard

Same teapot. This time instead of rendering with MetaPict, it is rendered via pict3d.
