@samth I think you mentioned that pkg-build is running continuously. Is that correct?

I just scraped the building information and it looks… really weird

The third column is the starting time. It looks like between #<datetime 2020-06-22T08:04:05> and #<datetime 2020-06-21T18:30:14> the service is off?

Probably makes too much noise in Jay’s room?

That surprises me, but it’s on EC2 and does run continuously.

The times are UCT? If so, isn’t it just (mostly) during the night in the US, and it happens that no one submitted anything during that time?

It looks like something has gone wrong with the instance 4–6 hours ago, I’m investigating.

mflatt
2020-6-23 12:33:47

Or maybe more like 12 hours ago

sorawee
2020-6-23 12:39:21

Yeah, I’m scraping this information because my package (last updated 7 hours ago ) is not getting rebuilt.

sorawee
2020-6-23 12:41:50

@laurent.orseau you can see that after #<datetime 2020-06-22T08:04:05> tons of packages were built back-to-back, indicating that they queued up but were not processed.

mflatt

Having many packages build might instead be a change to one package that many other packages depend on
