I did that on a Rpi. SMH
Makes me wonder what happens if you tell raco to use more cores than you have, say raco setup -j 100. Does it hang?
The clock on the lock screen is stuck at 10:40am when everything really hung up.
And I can’t unlock the screen locker.

On a 8year old dual core i7 mbp it takes about an hour. I think something else has gone wrong.
and the old mac is still usable while compiling.
I think this is a single core i7 running Linux. It works great for most stuff (which for me is a big Chrome session, a few Electron apps, and a lot of terminals.)
It only responds to ping now, using the ping times as a proxy for “it might be done”
I can’t even ssh in.
I’ll probably try this again in the afternoon except on an AWS system.
hmm it says 4 cores now that I can get in. For some reason top was only showing 1 oh well.
