> This might be the first time I’ve ever seen Racket code in the wild, outside my university. (written by ‘Flamewire’ and copied from https://www.reddit.com/r/xkcd/comments/80ah4o/xkcd_1960_code_golf/)
If you can put sample in a gist I’d like to link from https://github.com/racket/racket/wiki\|https://github.com/racket/racket/wiki
@spdegabrielle i suppose you are asking jmas? im just asking to confirm
Either- if you have what you think is a good sample that would be great.
Sorry, just got back to my desk. I’ll put together a list and link it here briefly.
Thank you both @massung & @cris2000.espinoza677
Here’s my example… my use-case was quite specific, but leveraged a lot of features. I’ve tried to document it considerably and there is also a comment after the gist explaining one major security bit to be aware of: https://gist.github.com/massung/7248a7f514b04df7c296894ad3899374
@spdegabrielle can I see the wiki entry? :slightly_smiling_face:
Haha haven’t got round to it yet.
ah ok no hurries
Added now - it’s just links but maybe it will become an enhancement to the racket guide at some point
great!
The problem with slack is people ask question get answers & resolve problems - and then it becomes inaccessible weeks later.(unless you pay slack insane amounts of money)
i agree, however you get “live line” with people
and that is a plus for me, since the web design also makes it easy to ask questions and get answers
but that’s besides the point
I just try to document tricky stuff on the wiki.
So it’s not lost.
that’s great, and thank you for doing so!
