I very much like the fact that they acknowledge that not everybody will necessarily have some funding body behind them that will cover the open access publishing costs :+1::skin-tone–2:

(about a year or so ago, I had a paper in a different field with a different publisher that could have been OA, but I would have had to pay something like 1,500 euros out of my own pocket to make it happen - funnily enough, I didn’t take that option)
