So if you download racket using the Edge browser, on completion, there’s a warning that the file could “harm your device”, but there’s a menu that has the “Keep” and “Report this file as safe” options.

If you go to “report this file as safe”

you get this:

oh, thanks! yeah i reported it as safe, will fill out the survey.

The file I downloaded was named “racket–8.0-x86_64-win32-cs.exe” and the survey didn’t have the option (I wrote it in “other”). Maybe the file that microsoft flagged as safe had a different name and that’s why this still happens? I suggested this in the survey too.

It’s the first time there have been problems of this kind, so it is new territory.
