Cool. The sicm code didn’t seem easy to port to me.

the kernel part gave me difficulties (and probably still has some errors where I got things wrong). But with that out of the way the rest was surprisingly easy. (But maybe that just shows I didn’t understand the subtleties) Now trying to put it into a package and onto github
