My friend who is a doctor sent me a picture of a tattoo in binary that was supposed to be patient’s son’s name in binary. He asked me what it said, because the patient’s wife said it was wrong. I asked Racket. The wife was right. It was the wrong name, and the wrong name was misspelled.

I got the story a little wrong. A mother had specialty tattoos for each of her kids, but the one for the kid who is a programmer was incorrect as noted above. Same idea though. If people ever ask why we learn binary, we can now answer: “Tattoos.”
