The thing I wonder about (besides what bizarre ways they’ll come up with to monetise it, since that always seems to happen inevitably with these sorts of website takeovers - see e.g. SourceForge) is how a lot of the long-time contributors will react. I mean, the site has long (always?) been about turning people’s freely-provided labour into a business, but before now it was easy to see it as some people trying to provide something good while keeping the lights on. That’s clearly not the case anymore.
