Interesting idea. I’m surprised it seems to work so well. What I’d likely miss would be the ability to recognize code structures and patterns (i.e. similar parts of the code).

Although this may be improved by indenting the equivalent of loop bodies.

I think there have been a few high profile ’program in plain English’ efforts. I think the language used for HyperCard and Python both have that as part of their initial designs.
