Thank you @soegaard2 for the reference of the \tag function in katex (I received the reference by email). It would be nice to be able to call that function inside Scribble (using scribble-math), the following expression: @$${\tag{1} x^2+y^2=1}. I hope in the near future we can use the \tag function, and also (if possible) the \boxed function.

Thank you for sharing any further idea about how to experiment and eventually implement this very useful and welcome functionality. (Thank you also for creating this space for sharing our dreams concerning scribble-math).
