Howdy folks. Thought I’d drop in to say hi. I’m based up in Glasgow right now, been a LISPer just about as long as I’ve been programming seriously, used Racket as my training wheels for learning CS and programming. Just got my start in the industry, though I’m between roles. Haven’t had much chance to use any LISP really, everyone would rather have me chug away with the morsels of python I incidentally picked up in school. Drifting back to Racket now that I’ve done some webdev and got a bit more experience to be able to evaluate when and where to use it, though I’m focusing on Clojure right now.
